Terry Bowden is dynamite. Terry provided an outstanding motivational speech for our Compliance sales meeting in Orlando Florida. We had over 600 agents attend a market conduct update on June 13th, 2008. His presentation motivated our sales organization and was the highlight of our program. He gave such a good presentation we immediately booked him for another meeting in North Carolina the following month. He was the final speaker after a long day of regulators and insurance companies speaking to our agents about the changes in regulations and state statutes. Our agents were tired, bored, and their only thought was ending the meeting and going home. However, it only took Terry 30 seconds to wake them up and get them excited. In a room full of professional sales people who make their living motivating other people, Terry had them spell bound and fully engaged throughout his entire speech. After hearing him speak, I can understand how he took Auburn to 11 and 0 in his first season. His message was right on target and presented in such a way that he sounded like he knew everything about our company, our business, and our agents. Enthusiastic. Motivational. Funny. Inspiring. You would have to search a very long time to find someone better than Terry Bowden to speak to any group. The best compliment I can give him is that even after a full day of regulatory discussions, everyone in the room would have stayed and listened to Terry speak until he was ready to stop. They all left with ideas and practices they can apply in their personal and professional lives everyday. Terry was as good as I imagined he would be! Terry Bowden visited the North Carolina Triangle this past Thursday and Friday to speak to the Northwestern Mutual Business Club. Terry Bowden is the best value out there on the speaker circuit, in my opinion. Dollar for dollar, nobody packs more energy, more punch, more engaging and entertaining storytelling than Terry. Beyond that, he takes the time to research and understand the client, the audience, the issues, and key messaging for the purpose of correlating his comments and stories with the business messaging the client seeks to deliver. Terry Bowden was truly the highlight of our program. Everyone should be afforded to opportunity to hear him speak.
